The analysis conducted in step 5 will be presented to the community and key stakeholders in separate meetings. Following the discussion of findings and causes, community members and data collectors explore opportunities to address issues through nutrition and gender sensitive agricultural interventions together. The idea behind this step is not only to confirm findings, but also to make the community aware of imminent causes of under-nutrition and help them identify those that can be addressed by means within their reach. The problem analysis will lead to a discussion on solutions, focusing on opportunities and constraints within the community context. Solutions might range from changes in intra-household decision-making patterns to ways in which local government departments of nutrition, agriculture and WASH now collaborate, or even to national policies and programmes that might curb improvements that the community wishes for. The community consultation will be based on the information collected with community members through steps 1 to 5.
