Step 4 – Key informant interviews and focus group discussions


  • To collect information on main issues in relation to agriculture, nutrition, gender and WASH according to key stakeholders in the community and at district level.
  • To collect information on what is being done at different levels and what has worked and why.
  • To understand experienced and perceived barriers and drivers – within and outside the household – that support or hinder the consideration of nutrition as an important factor in food production and consumption.
  • To gain insights into different attitudes and perceptions in relation to access and consuming nutritious foods by different family members – women, men, boys and girls.
