Step 2 – Participatory community and stakeholder mapping


  • Transect walk through the area/village along with community members and observe important places such as farms, crops, water sources, school, shops etc. that might have an effect on community nutrition status and behaviour.
  • Social and resource maps: participatory drawing of maps showing the village layout, location of farms, water resources, houses/neighbourhoods, different social groups, and other facilities.
  • Stakeholder mapping: Mapping of key stakeholders in the community, their role and how they relate to one another.
